Wyatt Fontenot hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lonny Caron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Lacombe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambert Chavez in the 5th minute of the match. Boyd Glass took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fredric Lacombe. Mulgrave's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lambert Chavez struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fredric Lacombe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Debden FC. Laurent Lentz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Couet's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Alain Connelly came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mulgrave fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Connelly couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Alain Connelly fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Laurent Lentz, passed just outside the right post. 23 minutes into the match, Debden FC's Lonny Caron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredric Lacombe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mulgrave's zone, Lonny Caron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Lacombe came out of the goal and Lonny Caron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lonny Caron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fredric Lacombe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lambert Chavez in the 32nd minute of play forced Mulgrave's goalkeeper Fredric Lacombe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Mulgrave's goal looked a bit too open when Lonny Caron came free, but Fredric Lacombe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Douglas Couet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Lentz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alain Connelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Mulgrave's goal looked a bit too open when Lambert Chavez came free, but Fredric Lacombe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lonny Caron made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lambert Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurent Lentz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Couet went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alain Connelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Couet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Laurent Lentz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Couet struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Laurent Lentz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mulgrave. 79 minutes in the game, Douglas Couet dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lonny Caron got free with Fredric Lacombe in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Lambert Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lonny Caron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Lacombe was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Mulgrave's Douglas Couet got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Douglas Couet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wyatt Fontenot charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wyatt Fontenot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Debden FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
