Ross Capps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kirby Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kirby Champagne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Sizemore, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Capps in the 13th minute of play forced Hatton FC's goalkeeper Kirby Champagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ed Daigneault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Hurd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Pedro Hurd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ed Daigneault was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hatton FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Quincy Sizemore scored to the left of an out of position Kirby Champagne, making the score, 1-1. Quentin Gold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kirby Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ross Capps's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kirby Champagne was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Hatton FC's Kirby Champagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Capps in the 25th minute of play. Quincy Sizemore might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kirby Champagne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quincy Sizemore ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Capps in the 30th minute of play forced Hatton FC's goalkeeper Kirby Champagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirby Champagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Capps in the 34th minute of play. Ross Capps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Champagne having to interfere. Ross Capps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hatton FC's zone, Quincy Sizemore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirby Champagne came out of the goal and Quincy Sizemore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Vernon Burris made a precise shot to the right of Ed Daigneault. Livelong's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The wind increased when Pedro Hurd made the kick off in the second half. Kirby Champagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Capps in the 56th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Ross Capps who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hatton FC's Kirby Champagne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes Livelong got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Gold. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Ross Capps put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kirby Champagne. Kirby Champagne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ross Capps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kirby Champagne came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Livelong's Ross Capps. But to his dismay, Ross Capps quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After having played for 73 minutes, Vernon Burris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hatton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vernon Burris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ross Capps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Livelong's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Hurd came free, but Ed Daigneault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ross Capps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kirby Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatton FC's Kirby Champagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maynard Belanger in the 85th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Livelong players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
