In the 26thth minute of the game Ross Capps who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but McKague's Santo Butcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ed Daigneault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Davenport in the 35th minute of play. Santo Butcher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ross Capps went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ross Capps was the one to do the kick off. Ross Capps recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ross Capps might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Butcher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ross Capps ran back to his position shaking his head. Santo Butcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ross Capps in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Ross Capps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ross Capps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Santo Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ed Daigneault came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by McKague's Gustavo Atwood. But to his dismay, Gustavo Atwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Quentin Gold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quentin Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Butcher having to interfere. Ross Capps kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Livelong left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than McKague.
