An unexpectedly hard shot by Lambert Chavez in the 45th minute of play forced Piquitonay FC's goalkeeper Nestor Despins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Despins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lonny Caron in the 46th minute of the match. Jeffry Yazzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Lentz having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Buster McDaniel made a kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piquitonay FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
