Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ross Capps started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Hector Good hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otha Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Capps in the 7th minute of the match. Otha Braden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Capps in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Livelong booed when Brancepeth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jermaine Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Brancepeth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quincy Sizemore came free, but Otha Braden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otha Braden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ross Capps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ed Daigneault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrell Christopher in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Tyrell Christopher reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ed Daigneault. The goal made the score 1-0. If Quincy Sizemore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Capps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otha Braden having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Livelong's Quincy Sizemore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otha Braden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ross Capps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quincy Sizemore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Otha Braden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ross Capps in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otha Braden saved Brancepeth AFC from getting behind. Livelong's Ed Daigneault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrell Christopher in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Joseph Beaupré had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otha Braden. Brancepeth AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Beaupré was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ross Capps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otha Braden having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tyrell Christopher made the kick off in the second half. Otha Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Capps in the 51st minute of the match. Otha Braden was a little too slow when Joseph Beaupré got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, Livelong's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchel Smith came free, but Ed Daigneault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrell Christopher in the 61st minute of play forced Livelong's goalkeeper Ed Daigneault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ross Capps was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Livelong's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tyrell Christopher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ed Daigneault read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Ed Daigneault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchel Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Mitchel Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Daigneault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jermaine Silva's late challenge caught a Livelong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jermaine Silva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute Quincy Sizemore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otha Braden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quincy Sizemore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otha Braden having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ross Capps kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otha Braden. That made the score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Livelong's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrell Christopher came free, but Ed Daigneault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Brancepeth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Singletary. In the 93rd minute, Ross Capps made a precise shot to the right of Otha Braden. Brancepeth AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Otha Braden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ross Capps showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 96 minute of play.
