The supporters of Millhaven AFC booed when Mulgrave was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudley Dubé didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Millhaven AFC's Antione Gaulin tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fredric Lacombe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathon Wheeler in the 14th minute of play. Mervin Prescott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Fredric Lacombe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Alain Connelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mervin Prescott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Lacombe having to interfere. Alain Connelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Millhaven AFC's zone, Alain Connelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylvain Carlson came out of the goal and Alain Connelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathon Wheeler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wyatt Fontenot kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Antione Gaulin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredric Lacombe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Barrett Obrien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alain Connelly scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylvain Carlson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sylvain Carlson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Couet in the 69th minute of the match. Mervin Prescott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Lacombe having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Mulgrave was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earle Napier to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Mervin Prescott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fredric Lacombe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Mervin Prescott left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millhaven AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Douglas Couet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Millhaven AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hal Dickinson. After 93 played minutes Douglas Couet rounded Millhaven AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Sylvain Carlson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Couet in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mulgrave eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
