Spectators: 6759 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabrice Demers got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes, Denis Rodriguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gowganda and the Bedford FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, Bedford FC's Jérémie Newman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrice Demers struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Shon Gant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gowganda. Herbert Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jérémie Newman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Mazuret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Shon Gant made a huge save. Javier Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gowganda's Herbert Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérémie Newman in the 24th minute of play. Fabrice Demers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Shon Gant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Valentin Mazuret came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gowganda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Mazuret couldn't finish the play. Javier Hernandez took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Moreno. Herbert Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Valentin Mazuret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Shon Gant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabrice Demers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Bedford FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jérémie Newman to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bedford FC's zone, Valentin Mazuret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shon Gant came out of the goal and Valentin Mazuret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Deniger kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Gowganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heath Rocher to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Bedford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtis Couture to maneuver through the defense. Javier Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jérémie Newman scored 0-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Javier Hernandez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 88th playminute. 93 minutes into the match, Bedford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrice Demers came free, but Shon Gant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Gowganda's goal looked a bit too open when Jérémie Newman came free, but Herbert Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bedford FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bedford FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
