Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antwan Baez came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Gowganda's Fabrice Demers. But to his dismay, Fabrice Demers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Joseph Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Julius Sansouci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Chimo's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Mazuret came free, but Antwan Baez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chimo's Julius Sansouci got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrice Demers in the 20th minute of play forced Chimo's goalkeeper Antwan Baez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Mazuret scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antwan Baez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Casey Douglas's late challenge caught a Chimo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casey Douglas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gowganda's Casey Douglas got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fabrice Demers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gowganda's Valentin Mazuret fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Heath Rocher struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Antwan Baez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gowganda. The supporters of Gowganda booed when Chimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyle Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antwan Baez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heath Rocher, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Valentin Mazuret struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Antwan Baez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gowganda. After the first half Gowganda were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrice Demers was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Denis Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antwan Baez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Valentin Mazuret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Heath in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Moreno saved Gowganda from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Valentin Mazuret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Deniger might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antwan Baez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Deniger ran back to his position shaking his head. Herbert Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacy Redd in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Gowganda's Fabrice Demers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antwan Baez. Antwan Baez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, Chimo's Antwan Baez got control of the ball when Valentin Mazuret tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Gowganda's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Heath came free, but Herbert Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gowganda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
