Spectators: 6744 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) Alma AFC's Eloy Bateman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Bradford FC got a freekick which was hit by August Glenn. After a defensive mix-up in Alma AFC's zone, Arnaud Senneville stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stan Clayton came out of the goal and Arnaud Senneville tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaud Senneville recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bradford FC booed when Alma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esmé Jarvis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Palmer Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Alma AFC's Alberto Quick got a free kick in the 25th minute. Bradford FC's Pete Mabry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elbert Allain in the 27th minute of play. If Arnaud Senneville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmer Chamberlain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Stan Clayton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Alma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Hinson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud Senneville got free with Stan Clayton in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bradford FC's Arnaud Senneville got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alberto Quick fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alma AFC's protests and gave Alberto Quick a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaud Senneville came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stan Clayton could save by the left post. In the 41st minute, Palmer Chamberlain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Alma AFC's Stan Clayton got control of the ball when Arnaud Senneville tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palmer Chamberlain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stan Clayton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 49 minutes, Elbert Allain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elbert Allain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Palmer Chamberlain made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Eloy Bateman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Bateman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esmé Jarvis during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alma AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Esmé Jarvis hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Palmer Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Clayton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Alma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Quick. Pete Mabry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Bateman, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmer Chamberlain in the 70th minute of play forced Alma AFC's goalkeeper Stan Clayton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnaud Senneville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Alma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Quick. Stan Clayton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaud Senneville went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Bradford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Bateman came free, but Pete Mabry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arnaud Senneville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Quick hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Alma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Senneville came free, but Stan Clayton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmer Chamberlain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Clayton having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Arnaud Senneville made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alma AFC's Stan Clayton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaud Senneville struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Stan Clayton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradford FC. If Palmer Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
