In the 23rd minute Hershel Toth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Ly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Broadlands AFC got a freekick which was hit by Randolph Howard. Randolph Howard's late challenge caught a Bienfait AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Randolph Howard helped the player get up and apologised. Rudolf Godwin charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolf Godwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Bienfait AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Godwin to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Ly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustache Loomis in the 40th minute of play. Eustache Loomis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Andrea Ly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chet Bright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolf Godwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bienfait AFC's Andrea Ly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hershel Toth in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Broadlands AFC's Eustache Loomis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrea Ly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rudolf Godwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th match minute, Bienfait AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Slaughter to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Broadlands AFC's Waylon Duranseau tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bienfait AFC's Andrea Ly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Bienfait AFC from getting a goal against them. Rudolf Godwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
