Maryfield AFC's Vincent Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Heath in the 4th minute of play. Vincent Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Heath in the 6th minute of the match. When Stacy Redd came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Chimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stacy Redd couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Joseph Heath fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 14th minute, Julius Sansouci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stacy Redd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Velazquez having to interfere. Joseph Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vincent Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chimo's goalkeeper Antwan Baez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maryfield AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Joseph Heath scored to the left of an out of position Vincent Velazquez, making the score, 1-0. In the 29th minute Joseph Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Maryfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jarrett Locke. Vincent Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Heath in the 31st minute of the match. When Rickie Gregoire fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maryfield AFC's protests and gave Rickie Gregoire a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Maryfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickie Gregoire to maneuver through the defense. When Chimo's Joseph Heath in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maryfield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Maryfield AFC's Fernando Copeland got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Chimo's Stacy Redd made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Velazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnulfo Tessier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antwan Baez having to interfere. Rickie Snider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antwan Baez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maryfield AFC's goalkeeper Vincent Velazquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Heath to make the kick off. When Chimo's Joseph Heath in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maryfield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Milford Fraser took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vincent Velazquez. Maryfield AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Joseph Heath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julius Sansouci kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
