That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Bo Ward fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Clayton having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Valentin Desnoyers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kittigagzyt's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Desnoyers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stan Clayton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bo Ward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Stan Clayton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes, Kittigagzyt's Arthur Presley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stan Clayton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kittigagzyt reached it. Bo Ward scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stan Clayton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylvain Benedict during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kittigagzyt booed when Alma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvain Benedict didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Elbert Allain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xavier Duranseau was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Ward to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Eloy Bateman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Duranseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Kittigagzyt's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Bateman came free, but Xavier Duranseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Eloy Bateman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stan Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Ward in the 67th minute of play. Stan Clayton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Ward, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Duranseau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elbert Allain's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Eloy Bateman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Kittigagzyt defense, Elbert Allain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Duranseau. The Kittigagzyt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Duranseau should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alma AFC's goalkeeper Stan Clayton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elbert Allain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
