Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sylvester Peck kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Tessier in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Mabry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvester Peck in the 5th minute of play forced Maryfield AFC's goalkeeper Vincent Velazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Maryfield AFC booed when Weberville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Brannon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rickie Snider might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Mabry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickie Snider ran back to his position shaking his head. Sylvester Peck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. John Mabry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Tessier in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Weberville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Conklin to maneuver through the defense. Bryant Brannon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Velazquez having to interfere. Vincent Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylvester Peck in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bryant Brannon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weberville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryant Brannon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Velazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincent Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Brannon in the 40th minute of play. Bryant Brannon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Velazquez having to interfere. Weberville FC's Sylvester Peck got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Maryfield AFC's Jarrett Locke got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Weberville FC! John Mabry had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Adolfo Cates's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Adolfo Cates notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Weberville FC's John Mabry. John Mabry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Mabry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickie Snider, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Sylvester Peck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weberville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvester Peck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Copeland hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Weberville FC's Rory Petersen tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Weberville FC booed when Maryfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Whitney Henrichon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryant Brannon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Velazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Sylvester Peck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vincent Velazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vincent Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvester Peck, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute.
