If Elbert Allain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chet Bright in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stan Clayton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bienfait AFC's Andrea Ly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Bateman in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Alma AFC's Elbert Allain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrea Ly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudolf Godwin was the one to do the kick off. Chet Bright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Bateman ran back to his position shaking his head. Bienfait AFC's Andrea Ly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Bienfait AFC from getting a goal against them. Maurice Slaughter hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Bienfait AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alma AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Alma AFC.
