Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joseph Heath got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Chimo's Antwan Baez got control of the ball when Javier Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémie Newman in the 12th minute of play forced Chimo's goalkeeper Antwan Baez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milford Fraser hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Antwan Baez was a little too slow when Jérémie Newman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Stacy Redd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Stacy Redd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shon Gant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joseph Heath came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Chimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Heath couldn't finish the play. Stacy Redd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chase Roussel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bedford FC's Javier Hernandez got a free kick in the 34th minute. Stacy Redd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shon Gant having to interfere. Antwan Baez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémie Newman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jérémie Newman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bedford FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jérémie Newman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antwan Baez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bedford FC's Shon Gant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Heath in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the game, Bedford FC's Javier Hernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antwan Baez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 58th match minute, Bedford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Long to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bedford FC's Kurtis Couture got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chimo's zone, Javier Hernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antwan Baez came out of the goal and Javier Hernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Jérémie Newman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bedford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jérémie Newman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedford FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Joseph Heath scored to the left of an out of position Shon Gant, making the score, 2-1. If Jérémie Newman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stacy Redd was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Joseph Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Shon Gant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Chimo's Joseph Heath ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Shon Gant. Shon Gant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
