Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bradford Lyon got the match started through his kick off. Marshall Nunez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Royce Parsons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Marshall Nunez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stirling's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Nunez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Royce Parsons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Chaussée received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Royce Parsons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léandre Bilodeau hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clermont's zone, Edmundo Chaussée stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royce Parsons came out of the goal and Edmundo Chaussée tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Kenton Mendoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Kenton Mendoza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clermont fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kenton Mendoza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Demetrius Burke made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Willie Morin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stirling's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clermont the free kick. A collision led to Stirling getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Willie Morin hit a great ball. Kenton Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrius Burke having to interfere. Marshall Nunez struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Royce Parsons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stirling. After a defensive mix-up in Clermont's zone, Marshall Nunez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royce Parsons came out of the goal and Marshall Nunez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes of play Stirling's Willie Morin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 56th minute, Willie Morin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrius Burke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradford Lyon in the 57th minute of play. Vern Dickson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Clermont's Lucien Rhoades tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Stirling getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gabriel Singer hit a great ball. Demetrius Burke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenton Mendoza in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Clermont's Royce Parsons got control of the ball when Elliott Blanton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Rodolfo Dawkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
