The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitri Masson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dimitri Masson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churchill's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitri Masson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manual Shields during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Brechin got a freekick which was hit by Manual Shields. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecil Crowley got free with Rainier Regan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
