Bradford Mayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Favreau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Dimitri Masson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradford Mayes. Rockport AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitri Masson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dimitri Masson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitri Masson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bradford Mayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradford Mayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Masson in the 44th minute of play. If Dimitri Masson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitri Masson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Churchill got a corner. Rockport AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Witt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcos Witt made a great header on Churchill's corner, it was just that Rockport AFC's Bradford Mayes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 60th minute Noel Archambault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainier Regan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rockport AFC's Noel Archambault got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Gonzalo Favreau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Churchill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Favreau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bradford Mayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri Masson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Noel Archambault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armel Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainier Regan having to interfere. Noel Archambault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rainier Regan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Armel Amos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
