With a little luck, Clermont's Royce Parsons got control of the ball when Vincenzo Numbers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenton Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Waller having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincenzo Numbers got free with Royce Parsons in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristopher Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenton Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donald Nguyen during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Humbert Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenton Mendoza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristopher Waller having to make a save. After 31 played minutes Meyersburg got a freekick which was hit by Deangelo Dubois. Clermont's Royce Parsons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Clermont from getting a goal against them. Humbert Jacobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Meyersburg's Donald Nguyen got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cristopher Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradford Lyon in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Humbert Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meyersburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humbert Jacobsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Erick Jolicoeur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clermont's Lucien Rhoades couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Meyersburg.
