The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco Olsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Marco Olsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nachvak's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Olsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Gunter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Gunter was a little too slow when Marco Olsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Asa Shultz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Logan Crane struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Stacey Keith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kenabeek AFC. If Logan Crane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Olsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nachvak's zone, Theron Tatum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stacey Keith came out of the goal and Theron Tatum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stacey Keith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Crane in the 41st minute of play. Logan Crane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacey Keith having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Olsen to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Logan Crane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kenabeek AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Logan Crane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Nachvak's Stacey Keith got control of the ball when Theron Tatum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stacey Keith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Logan Crane's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Rudolf Helton successfully managed to get himself past Nachvak's defense and had a dream possibility and totally alone with Stacey Keith everyone thought he would score, but the ball went just outside the top right corner. In the 66th minute Rudolf Helton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacey Keith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 68 in the game by Theron Tatum from a close distance when the talented Stacey Keith managed to make a qualified save. Nachvak's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theron Tatum got free with Stacey Keith in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Gunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Olsen in the 72nd minute of play. Sergio Gunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Yang in the 74th minute of the match. Marco Olsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Olsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Karl Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Karl Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Gunter was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Karl Yang struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sergio Gunter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nachvak. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nachvak fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kenabeek AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
