The audience was convinced that Bert Vogt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Garnier was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Ambroise Caldwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Newton Oliver having to interfere. Newton Oliver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Grimard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Allan Grimard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Newton Oliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Grimard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Newton Oliver having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Ambroise Caldwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Allan Grimard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Newton Oliver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Newton Oliver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Grimard, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Ambroise Caldwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Grimard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Newton Oliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bert Vogt to make the kick off. Rico Hutchinson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rico Hutchinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rico Hutchinson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Moisie AFC's Gaspard McHugh broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ulrich Segura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Garnier having to interfere. Marcelino Garnier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Segura, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Segura in the 70th minute of play forced Bethany's goalkeeper Marcelino Garnier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Bethany's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Segura came free, but Marcelino Garnier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Garnier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Bert Vogt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcelino Garnier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th match minute, Moisie AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warren Storey to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bethany's Toney Parish tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Moisie AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bethany for a fine match.
