One of Nachvak:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Worsley FC:s goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Worsley FC's goalkeeper Carter Dwyer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute Bryan Westbrook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacey Keith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bryan Westbrook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Worsley FC's Cleo Jacobson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stacey Keith narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
