Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Simcoe FC's Maurice Caudill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Simcoe FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Pritchard. In the 6th minute, Keneth Murdock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cyril Leonard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Keene having to interfere. Johnie Keene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keneth Murdock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabien Gibson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Caudill, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Johnie Keene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyril Leonard in the 25th minute of play. Johnie Keene stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keneth Murdock's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Hawkesbury AFC's Fabien Gibson got control of the ball when Lucien Herndon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmen Huerta hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Simcoe FC's Johnie Keene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keneth Murdock in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyril Leonard in the 47th minute of play forced Simcoe FC's goalkeeper Johnie Keene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Hawkesbury AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyril Leonard was the one to do the kick off. Johnie Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyril Leonard in the 59th minute of the match. Simcoe FC's Lucien Herndon got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabien Gibson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurice Caudill's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Lucien Herndon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Simcoe FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Chet Jordan hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Keneth Murdock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyril Leonard in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnie Keene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keneth Murdock succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 79th playminute. Edgar Lincoln kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Simcoe FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hawkesbury AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hawkesbury AFC.
