After 6 played minutes Melocheville got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Villeneuve. After having played for 10 minutes, Simon Morris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melocheville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Morris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herb Rutherford hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Herb Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barich's Carl Jackson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Barich from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Josh Goguen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carl Jackson. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The supporters of Melocheville booed when Barich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Royal McGhee didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Frankie Généreux shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Jackson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Loup Osborne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristopher Wynn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Josh Goguen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melocheville's supporters rose to their feet, but Josh Goguen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Jackson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Carl Jackson managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Melocheville's Simon Morris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristopher Wynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loup Osborne in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Simon Morris fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carl Jackson, passed just outside the right post. Corin Rudolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baptiste Looney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carl Jackson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herb Rutherford hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Florian Puckett kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josh Goguen was the one to do the kick off. After 55th play minutes Josh Goguen shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Carl Jackson and just under the crossbar into goal. 60 minutes into the match, Melocheville's Simon Morris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Jackson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corin Rudolph was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Barich's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cristopher Wynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loup Osborne in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barich's Renard Campbell got a free kick in the 64th minute. Frankie Généreux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carl Jackson. Barich's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oswaldo Villeneuve charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Villeneuve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Melocheville got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Villeneuve. With a little luck, Melocheville's Cristopher Wynn got control of the ball when Loup Osborne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Simon Morris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
