Spectators: 7326 (Terracing: 5726, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Tessier got the match started through his kick off. Henry Hawk in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jaime Autier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Edmonton booed when Iberville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Thibodeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iberville's zone, Henry Hawk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Autier came out of the goal and Henry Hawk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Henry Hawk notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Iberville's Jaime Autier. Jaime Autier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmonton's Henry Hawk got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Modesto Collins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iberville and the Edmonton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Len Lunsford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Linwood Melanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Lunsford in the 28th minute of play forced Edmonton's goalkeeper Linwood Melanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play Iberville's Modesto Collins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 30th match minute, Iberville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Collins to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Wolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jaime Autier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Iberville's zone, Jack Staley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Autier came out of the goal and Jack Staley tried to chip the ball over his head. Lucas Tessier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Hawk to make the kick off. Henry Hawk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jaime Autier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Rodger Person cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jaime Autier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jack Staley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jaime Autier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Edmonton fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Edmonton's Henry Hawk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jesus Langlais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Henry Hawk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iberville's Jaime Autier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Edmonton getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Edmundo Wolf hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Len Lunsford got free with Linwood Melanson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Len Lunsford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lucas Tessier fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iberville's protests and gave Lucas Tessier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Lucas Tessier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Henry Hawk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edmonton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Hawk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Len Lunsford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Edmonton were the better team. Edmonton's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
