Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grady Dominguez got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Orlando Kimball got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 minutes of play, Furness's Millard Swenson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tod Arsenault was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Tristan Rice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jay Pouliotte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grady Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Grady Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jay Pouliotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grady Dominguez in the 23rd minute of play forced Furness's goalkeeper Jay Pouliotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grady Dominguez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jay Pouliotte came out and tried to block the shot, but Grady Dominguez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute Millard Swenson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tod Arsenault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Owen Mack hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Grady Dominguez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jay Pouliotte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Orlando Kimball recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Alonzo Baker kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Tristan Rice came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Furness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Rice couldn't finish the play. If Andrea Albrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Millard Swenson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hutton's Tod Arsenault was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Furness's Everett Regan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Orlando Kimball succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If Millard Swenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Millard Swenson in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tod Arsenault saved Hutton from getting behind. Alonzo Baker got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Furness booed when Hutton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Baker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Millard Swenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Furness's Orlando Kimball got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Millard Swenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Furness's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
