Edmonton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Langlais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Henry Hawk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onefour's Garret D'AoustDaoust was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmonton's Jesus Langlais got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jack Staley took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Garret D'AoustDaoust to make any attempt to save it. Clarence Rosales hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Edmonton's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Poulin came free, but Linwood Melanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Henry Hawk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garret D'AoustDaoust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Hawk, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Linwood Melanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Sevier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Henry Hawk lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Garret D'AoustDaoust. Theo Sevier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Edmonton's Jesus Langlais got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Hawk made a kick off. With a little luck, Edmonton's Linwood Melanson got control of the ball when Norberto Poulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garret D'AoustDaoust stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Hawk's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Edmonton's Clarence Rosales got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Wayne Youngblood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Hawk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garret D'AoustDaoust having to interfere. Henry Hawk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Garret D'AoustDaoust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Poulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linwood Melanson having to interfere. Garret D'AoustDaoust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Hawk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Garret D'AoustDaoust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wayne Youngblood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Edmonton fully deserved thier win.
