Louis Mahoney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jay Pouliotte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Lynn Akers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millard Swenson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burgis FC's Lynn Akers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Kimball in the 11th minute of play. Louis Mahoney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Pouliotte having to interfere. A collision led to Furness getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Oren Baggett hit a great ball. Orlando Kimball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Neal Goldman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Burgis FC booed when Furness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Millard Swenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Owen Mack took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lynn Akers. Burgis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Célestin Lindsey hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Damien Bradshaw could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jay Pouliotte made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Mahoney to strike the kick off in the second half. Millard Swenson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Millard Swenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Derrick Cassidy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lynn Akers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Kimball in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute, Damian Staley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 61 minutes, Orlando Kimball managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furness's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Kimball was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jay Pouliotte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Mahoney's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Damien Bradshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Pouliotte having to interfere. Tristan Rice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Furness:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Burgis FC:s goal. Jay Pouliotte went to the wrong direction when Miguel Putnam was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Burgis FC's Damian Staley got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Millard Swenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornell Rankin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. If Millard Swenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
