Hobbema AFC's Marcellin Epperson got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremiah Khan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gavin Klein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dexter Libby in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, one of Hobbema AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hobbema AFC. If Palmer Loiselle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hobert Clay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcellin Epperson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Palmer Loiselle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Klein was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Palmer Loiselle struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gavin Klein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denizlispor. Palmer Loiselle scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavin Klein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gavin Klein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dexter Libby, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Antoine Laird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakov Lukashov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yakov Lukashov came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Hobbema AFC's Jeremiah Khan. But to his dismay, Jeremiah Khan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Marcellin Epperson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakov Lukashov having to interfere. The supporters of Hobbema AFC booed when Denizlispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Warren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match German Pelletier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yakov Lukashov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcellin Epperson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denizlispor's Yakov Lukashov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hobert Clay in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute Marcellin Epperson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakov Lukashov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmer Loiselle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gavin Klein firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rashad Luna hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Hobert Clay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
