In the 3rd minute, Célestin McCoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Properity's Colton Irvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Buck Alvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Darell Read had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute Darell Read shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buck Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Newmarket getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Célestin McCoy hit a great ball. Pascal Spaulding struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Dannie Ritter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newmarket. With his leg Dannie Ritter managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Newmarket's Baudouin Jean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Properity's Dannie Ritter got control of the ball when Baudouin Jean tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Newmarket's Pascal Spaulding in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Properity's goalie prevented a goal. Colton Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Properity's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Pascal Spaulding scored to the left of an out of position Dannie Ritter, making the score, 1-0. Célestin McCoy hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Darell Read sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes, Jonas Gauthier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newmarket and the Properity players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baudouin Jean took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dannie Ritter. Dannie Ritter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 42 played minutes, Newmarket's Tony Singh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dannie Ritter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newmarket reached it. Colton Irvin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buck Alvarez. Buck Alvarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascal Spaulding to make the kick off. Delbert Drouin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Darell Read managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Properity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darell Read was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Newmarket's Buck Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Newmarket from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Baudouin Jean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dannie Ritter. Properity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baudouin Jean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Baudouin Jean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dannie Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Darell Read left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Properity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Darell Read sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darell Reads short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Buck Alvarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88thth minute of the game Colton Irvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newmarket's Buck Alvarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Colton Irvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buck Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute, Pascal Spaulding ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dannie Ritter was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Newmarket were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Properity for a fine match.
