Spectators: 6750 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dudley Cook made the kick off which started today's match. Marcelino Harrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Tracy, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Palencia in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Harrison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute Dudley Cook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Weidenfeller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harold Tracy took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Harrison. Marcelino Harrison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Harold Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Harrison having to interfere. Allan Palencia might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Harrison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Palencia ran back to his position shaking his head. Harold Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcelino Harrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Palencia took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Harrison. Marcelino Harrison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Harold Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Palencia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Harrison saved Meyersburg from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Tracy in the 37th minute of play forced Meyersburg's goalkeeper Marcelino Harrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Palencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Harrison having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Allan Palencia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitewood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Palencia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Harold Tracy came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Whitewood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Tracy couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Allan Palencia sped through Meyersburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelino Harrison. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Allan Palencia made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Allan Palencia from a close distance when the talented Marcelino Harrison managed to make a qualified save. Meyersburg's players were relieved. Roman Weidenfeller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Barnard in the 56th minute of play. Domingo Nelson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelino Harrison. Meyersburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gilbert Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meyersburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Barnard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Weidenfeller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Benito Ziegler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Dewitt Charles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Whitewood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Maju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Harrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Majus short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Marcelino Harrison to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Whitewood's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
