Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rhett Coates got the match started through his kick off. Florencio Dobbins came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria Wolves's Liu Zheng. But to his dismay, Liu Zheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Florencio Dobbins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Roach in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Liu Zheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Zheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Houston Bruneau put in a rough tackle. In the 13th minute, one of Lanigan AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lanigan AFC. Florencio Dobbins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Zheng in the 18th minute of play. Rene Roach might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Dobbins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Roach ran back to his position shaking his head. Florencio Dobbins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liu Zheng went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Victoria Wolves's Orval Rubin got control of the ball when Erich Larsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florencio Dobbins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Victoria Wolves fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Victoria Wolves's Liu Zheng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, Victoria Wolves's Rene Roach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Dobbins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rene Roach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Rene Roach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Wolves and the Lanigan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rene Roach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liu Zheng was the one to do the kick off. If Rene Roach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liu Zheng in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florencio Dobbins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanigan AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Dobbins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Liu Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Holloway kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Orval Rubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luther Dupree, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Liu Zheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liu Zhengs short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Florencio Dobbins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Florencio Dobbins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Liu Zheng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 76 minute of play. Victoria Wolves's Bobbie Dobson was substituted for Ludovic Pavot. Lanigan AFC's Luther Dupree got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liu Zheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Florencio Dobbins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Victoria Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Warner Grier. In the 89th minute, Liu Zheng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8.
