After some careless play in the Ashern AFC defense, Régis Holmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Thurman. The Ashern AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Thurman should have stopped the shot. Patrick Thurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Holmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Régis Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Thurman having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Amédée Guinn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Patrick Thurman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amédée Guinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amédée Guinn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Thurman had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Amédée Guinn from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Régis Holmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Ashern AFC's Rod Phillips nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gautier Chesnay hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Amédée Guinns short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Patrick Thurman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Amédée Guinn came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Terrebonne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amédée Guinn couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amédée Guinn in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Thurman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Terrebonne could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ashern AFC throughout the match.
