The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Feng Sang Bing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Victoria Wolves's Quinton Hinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loyd Dunbar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A hard shot by Warner Grier from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Loyd Dunbar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 12 minutes into the match, Victoria Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Basile Nunez came free, but Orval Rubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Donat Boucher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orval Rubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orval Rubin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donat Boucher's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Holman FC's Loyd Dunbar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Zheng in the 18th minute of play. Rene Roach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Loyd Dunbar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eric Wenerdahl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. A collision led to Victoria Wolves getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Liu Zheng hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Holman FC's zone, Quinton Hinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loyd Dunbar came out of the goal and Quinton Hinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Liu Zheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinton Hinson in the 42nd minute of play forced Holman FC's goalkeeper Loyd Dunbar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eric Wenerdahl came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Victoria Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Wenerdahl couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Holman FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wendell Kraft hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liu Zheng to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Holman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feng Sang Bing came free, but Loyd Dunbar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Wenerdahl scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loyd Dunbar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orval Rubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Liu Zheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holman FC's Loyd Dunbar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Victoria Wolves's Orval Rubin got control of the ball when Basile Nunez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feng Sang Bing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Wendell Kraft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holman FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Victoria Wolves the free kick. Loyd Dunbar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Zheng in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basile Nunez got free with Orval Rubin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoria Wolves's Bobbie Dobson was substituted for Ludovic Pavot. In the 91st minute of the match Rene Roach sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loyd Dunbar skillfully saved the ball. Loyd Dunbar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liu Zheng's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
