Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Ashern AFC's Cole Barnard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Raymon Dukes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Thurman. Raymon Dukes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Ashern AFC's Patrick Thurman got control of the ball when Jerrell Lafrenière tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rod Phillips fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Morgan having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Gautier Chesnay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Jerrell Lafrenière got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymon Dukes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Patrick Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fritz Reilly's late challenge caught a Chetacan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Reilly helped the player get up and apologised. Fritz Reilly hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Aaron Morgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod Phillips in the 29th minute of play. Patrick Thurman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymon Dukes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Ashern AFC's Cole Barnard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Morgan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jerrell Lafrenière struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Patrick Thurman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chetacan FC. Aaron Morgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cole Barnard in the 46th minute of play. The Chetacan FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ashern AFC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymon Dukes to make the kick off. In the 64th minute Jerrell Lafrenière shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Thurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerrell Lafrenière received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Patrick Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Rod Phillips sped through Chetacan FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aaron Morgan. Rod Phillips who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Aaron Morgan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rod Phillips recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Chetacan FC's Raymon Dukes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Thurman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gautier Chesnay hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Gautier Chesnay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashern AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chetacan FC the free kick. A collision led to Ashern AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gautier Chesnay hit a great ball. The Ashern AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
