In the 28th minute, Jonathon McFadden fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clyde Maher, passed just outside the right post. If Micheal Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Melton hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Jonathon McFadden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pakan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon McFadden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Sirois made a kick off. Joel Sirois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude English having to interfere.
