Virgil George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neguac. In the 7th minute, Alain Smalls hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gail Stearns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordon McWilliams in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Alain Smalls was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neguac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aiyansh FC the free kick. A collision led to Neguac getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alain Smalls hit a great ball. Jordon McWilliams took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gail Stearns. Gail Stearns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Neguac's Ambroise Gilbert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgil George. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Daron Dagenais kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Spencer Cartwright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gail Stearns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jules Bunch came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Virgil George could save by the left post. When Aiyansh FC's Spencer Cartwright in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neguac's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes Neguac got a freekick which was hit by Alain Smalls. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spencer Cartwright in the 34th minute of play forced Neguac's goalkeeper Gail Stearns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambroise Gilbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Virgil George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Neguac's goal looked a bit too open when Jordon McWilliams came free, but Gail Stearns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambroise Gilbert in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil George saved Aiyansh FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sung Murillo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Neguac booed when Aiyansh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambroise Gilbert to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Neguac's Tracy Martin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jordon McWilliams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gail Stearns having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play Neguac's Alain Smalls was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th minute, Alain Smalls hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Spencer Cartwright got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Spencer Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Spencer Cartwright was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aiyansh FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neguac the free kick. Neguac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Spencer Cartwright was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jules Bunch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Spencer Cartwright got free with Gail Stearns in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spencer Cartwright who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Gail Stearns when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Jordon McWilliams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aiyansh FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
