Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robbie Ouellet kicked off to start the match. Achille Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Cooke having to interfere. Freddie Cooke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grady Méthot in the 7th minute of play. Cesar Darden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Ouellet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Darden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Ouellet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Achille Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grady Méthot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davangus FC's Achille Benson got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francis Sanschagrin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Achille Benson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Skiff's Freddie Cooke. Freddie Cooke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robbie Ouellet hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Achille Benson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes, Malcolm Pepper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skiff and the Davangus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Davangus FC booed when Skiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Pepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eli Otto, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skiff's zone, Achille Benson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Cooke came out of the goal and Achille Benson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 65th match minute, Skiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francis Sanschagrin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achille Benson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Cooke saved Skiff from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Robbie Ouellet rounded Davangus FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. A collision led to Skiff getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Danilo Kinney hit a great ball. Freddie Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Benson in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Robbie Ouellet took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Cesar Darden to make any attempt to save it. Although Davangus FC had been in control for most of the match, Skiff still came away with the win.
