Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Achille Yates took the kick off in the first half of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Rudolph Rubin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Séverin Richter. Rudolph Rubin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sébastien Weathers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Séverin Richter having to interfere. Oren Dunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Yates in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Keoma! Oren Dunn had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Garland Becker's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 28th minute, Achille Yates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neepawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Isidore Cyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Julian Caya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keoma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neepawa the free kick. After 33 played minutes Keoma got a freekick which was hit by Julian Caya. Oren Dunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidore Cyr in the 36th minute of play. Séverin Richter made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Sébastien Weathers sent off a good shot on target. Sébastien Weathers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Séverin Richter having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Rudolph Rubin took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Séverin Richter to make any attempt to save it. Achille Yates scored 2-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oren Dunn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Achille Yates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oren Dunn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Olin Moss hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Séverin Richter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Rubin in the 77th minute of play. Sébastien Weathers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rudolph Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Constantin Espinosa from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Oren Dunn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sébastien Weathers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Séverin Richter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Neepawa's German Desaulniers got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rudolph Rubin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Séverin Richter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Neepawa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Keoma.
