The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Campos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matador's Perry Hays got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Owen Prescott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Bush in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Warren Bush made a precise shot to the right of Owen Prescott. Petewawa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Petewawa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matador.
