Skiff's Robbie Ouellet was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sébastien Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skiff's supporters rose to their feet, but Sébastien Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Brewer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sébastien Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

61 minutes into the game, Warren Bush cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Freddie Cooke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Skiff's Robbie Ouellet got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcolm Pepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Brewer having to interfere. Lino Green's late challenge caught a Skiff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Green helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Matador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Green to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Fiacre Boivin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Brewer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Skiff's Robbie Ouellet in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matador's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie Cooke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Matador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
