Maynard Creech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emory Britton's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Théodore Dillon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Boyd Pierce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Théodore Dillon was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
