The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achille Yates stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Gerry Hansen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chad Croquetaigne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tehkummah's zone, Isidore Cyr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chad Croquetaigne came out of the goal and Isidore Cyr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gayle Doran might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Séverin Richter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gayle Doran ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute, Gayle Doran made a precise shot to the right of Séverin Richter. Neepawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 62 minutes into the game, Gerry Hansen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neepawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tehkummah the free kick. Neepawa's Achille Yates got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chad Croquetaigne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidore Cyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tehkummah were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Neepawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julius Weller took the corner. The corner ended in Julius Weller almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Neepawa's Séverin Richter did a great save. A collision led to Neepawa getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Georges Workman hit a great ball. When Félix Harden came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tehkummah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Félix Harden couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Tehkummah's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Yates came free, but Chad Croquetaigne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Gayle Doran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Séverin Richter. Neepawa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gayle Doran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Isidore Cyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidore Cyr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chad Croquetaigne having to interfere. Félix Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tehkummah walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
