After 5 played minutes, Keoma's Lynn Labrecque shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maynard Creech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Keoma reached it. Mitchel Stringer's late challenge caught a Keoma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mitchel Stringer helped the player get up and apologised. Maynard Creech had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Lynn Labrecque's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th match minute, Hamilton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastien Bizier to maneuver through the defense. Keoma's Lynn Labrecque couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hamilton FC. Sébastien Weathers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maynard Creech having to interfere. If Boyd Pierce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maynard Creech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Rubin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oren Dunn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyd Pierce in the 22nd minute of the match. Oren Dunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Pierce in the 24th minute of play. Oren Dunn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Pierce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rudolph Rubin came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Keoma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolph Rubin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rudolph Rubin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keoma's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolph Rubin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maynard Creech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maynard Creech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolph Rubin in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Hamilton FC booed when Keoma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mose Lespérance didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Oren Dunn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Boyd Pierce in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Boyd Pierce let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 48th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolph Rubin to make the kick off. Sébastien Weathers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Maynard Creech skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sébastien Weathers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maynard Creech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Hamilton FC got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Bizier. If Rudolph Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Maynard Creech managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Keoma's Sébastien Weathers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Keoma's Rudolph Rubin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rudolph Rubin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keoma's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolph Rubin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maynard Creech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Rudolph Rubin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maynard Creech. Rudolph Rubin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Keoma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
