The supporters of Klemtoo AFC booed when Vantage AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Riley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klemtoo AFC were furious when Curt Sparks was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Eddie Short shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ivan Tilley made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Gaston Lundy sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rogelio Edmondson was a little too slow when Ellsworth Spicer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Israel McCann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Nick Ward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Edmondson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel McCann in the 61st minute. Israel McCann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Edmondson having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Klemtoo AFC's goalkeeper Rogelio Edmondson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ellsworth Spicer in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Edmondson saved Klemtoo AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Vantage AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dennis Riley hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Gaston Lundy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Tilley. Vantage AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Lundy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ellsworth Spicer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Israel McCann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodger Winkler during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Klemtoo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodger Winkler to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ellsworth Spicer put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rogelio Edmondson. The Klemtoo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vantage AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vantage AFC.
