Neal Ortega charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neal Ortega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neal Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Luc McElroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaldo McCray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renaldo McCray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Desilets in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Sedalia AFC's Luc McElroy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renaldo McCray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Levi Gray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Comer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Theodore Comer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hixon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodore Comer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clay Desilets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renaldo McCray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luc McElroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clay Desilets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo McCray having to interfere. The supporters of Sedalia AFC booed when Hixon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Sampson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Sedalia AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Renaldo McCray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc McElroy's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Richard Cornelius hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes of play, Sedalia AFC's Luc McElroy made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renaldo McCray was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luc McElroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Renaldo McCray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Sedalia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Theodore Comer came free, but Levi Gray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clay Desilets struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Renaldo McCray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sedalia AFC. In the 88th match minute, Sedalia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luc McElroy to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Theodore Comer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Levi Gray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luc McElroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Renaldo McCray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Clay Desilets came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sedalia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clay Desilets couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Sedalia AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hixon FC.
