Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ellsworth Spicer took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Miguel Odell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vantage AFC's zone, Louis Rainey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Tilley came out of the goal and Louis Rainey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Rainey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ivan Tilley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Blackwater getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Erin Bolden hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Vantage AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Odell came free, but Ivan Tilley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vantage AFC's zone, Miguel Odell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Tilley came out of the goal and Miguel Odell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Ellsworth Spicer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valentine Grubbs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ellsworth Spicer in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentine Grubbs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Vantage AFC defense, Miguel Odell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Tilley. The Vantage AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Tilley should have stopped the shot. Louis Rainey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ivan Tilley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Israel McCann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vantage AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel McCann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franklin Correa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ellsworth Spicer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentine Grubbs. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Louis Rainey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Rainey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ellsworth Spicer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Rainey was the one to do the kick off. After 53rd play minutes Louis Rainey shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Ivan Tilley and just under the crossbar into goal. Israel McCann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vantage AFC's Israel McCann got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vantage AFC's Ivan Tilley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Rainey in the 76th minute of play. Vantage AFC's Ivan Tilley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Vantage AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, Vantage AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Riley to maneuver through the defense. Vantage AFC's Ivan Tilley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Rainey in the 81st minute of play. Casey Mobley shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ivan Tilley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Rainey in the 87th minute of the match. If Miguel Odell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Odell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ivan Tilley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Eddie Short hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Rainey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
