Steele AFC's Angel Worley got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrick Chase hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Gustavo Vigil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Steele AFC's Bryce Prather didn't even have to move. Garrett Monty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Steele AFC's Bastien Pelletier got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bryce Prather took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joesph Vaughan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Steele AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Vigil was slow to take the kick. During this time Huronian FC's players had a chance to rest. Bastien Pelletier tried in the 33rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Bryce Prather a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. If Ted Ivy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Angel Worley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Worley was the one to do the kick off. Vincent Anthony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Worley in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Joesph Vaughan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huronian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joesph Vaughan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Merle Connors hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph Vaughan in the 68th minute of play forced Steele AFC's goalkeeper Bryce Prather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Anthony made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Ivy in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes in the game, Ted Ivy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vincent Anthony having to interfere. Ted Ivy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Worley in the 81st minute of play forced Huronian FC's goalkeeper Vincent Anthony to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Ivy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vincent Anthony tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Joesph Vaughan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryce Prather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huronian FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
