Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gérald Marks started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Catalina AFC's zone, Harry Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donn Courtney came out of the goal and Harry Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Von Wilkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gérald Marks, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Gérald Marks was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Donn Courtney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graig Powell in the 10th minute of play. Gérald Marks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Freddy McNair came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Catalina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy McNair couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Gérald Marks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catalina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gérald Marks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy McNair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Von Wilkinson made a huge save. Von Wilkinson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gérald Marks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 35th minute Graig Powell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donn Courtney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gérald Marks came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Catalina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gérald Marks couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sang Weston during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sang Weston hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Moran made a kick off. Drumbo were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Catalina AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Coy Pépin took the corner. The corner led to Drumbo's Horace Lane getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 60 played minutes Catalina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jourdain McDaniel. Pasquale Brewer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Donn Courtney came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Drumbo's Graig Powell. But to his dismay, Graig Powell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Harry Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Drumbo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Corey Binet hit a great ball. Catalina AFC's Donn Courtney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Moran in the 78th minute of play. Gérald Marks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy McNair in the 85th minute of play forced Drumbo's goalkeeper Von Wilkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gérald Marks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Von Wilkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Drumbo got a freekick which was hit by Coy Pépin. Von Wilkinson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Catalina AFC's Gérald Marks. But to his dismay, Gérald Marks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Catalina AFC were the better team. Catalina AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
