Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renato Richter got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Lamar Ratté shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Reece saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lamar Ratté in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kim Reece prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renato Richter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kim Reece read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Telesphore Engle struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jackson Winslow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metabechuoan. After 13 played minutes Metabechuoan got a freekick which was hit by Josiah Geiger. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lamar Ratté managed to get in a good position for a shot. McLennan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lamar Ratté was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim Reece breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telesphore Engle kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Kim Reece came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by McLennan's Renato Richter. But to his dismay, Renato Richter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lamar Ratté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Reece having to interfere. Renato Richter might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kim Reece. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Richter ran back to his position shaking his head. Telesphore Engle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackson Winslow having to interfere. Bryant Jewell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jackson Winslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Simon Eastman fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored McLennan's protests and gave Simon Eastman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Simon Eastman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brady Elmore charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brady Elmore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brady Elmore hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telesphore Engle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jackson Winslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Jewell in the 55th minute of play. Jackson Winslow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesphore Engle in the 56th minute of the match. McLennan's Jackson Winslow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brady Elmore in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to McLennan getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Reuben Maheu hit a great ball. When Metabechuoan's Telesphore Engle in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 70 played minutes McLennan got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Maheu. Telesphore Engle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jackson Winslow having to make a save. Bryant Jewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 played minutes Metabechuoan got a freekick which was hit by Brady Elmore. In the 80th minute, Thomas Stephens sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Metabechuoan's Kim Reece didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bryant Jewell managed to get in a good position for a shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing McLennan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
